I am reading Alice Munro right now. Trying to understand what is so great about her writing. She is one of those icons of Canadian Literature that just donít do anything for me. I think she has even been referred to as one of the best short story writers in the world. Yet I am struggling through her short story collection,ďWho do you think you are ?Ē, hoping to learn something, and finding the characters only mildly compelling. I donít care about them, and for me thatís really the only reason to want to continue reading. Is it just me?
