It’s a grey day this morning – none of that spring sunshine we’ve been having lately – with a soft rain hardly worthy of a hat.
I was reading Saturday’s Irish Times on the train to work - specifically an article about a young Cork man who suffered a spinal cord injury playing rugby in 2007. He lives a difficult, but positive life in London with his mother and round the clock professional care.
On euthanasia - he appreciates how he might end up wanting to end his life, but for now he says his quality of life is definitely worth while.
