The trappings of Dadís eighty-five years of life fit neatly into six bankers boxes. This was a considerable upgrade from Momís things which filled five garbage bags, the majority of their contents sent to Good Will or parceled out among her surviving sisters. Sure there was stuff left behind: couches, rugs, tables, kitchen things, but these held no memories for me. We gave Dadís friend Rita everything so itís up to her now to decide what she wants to keep and what she wants to sell. Iím not sure if that was generosity or laziness on our part. Probably both.
