I have learned a lot about knitting in the last year, and I’ve understood even more about what I’ve learned. I have finished a sweater that will probably fit me fairly well, is a beautiful color and pattern, but isn’t knitted as well as I’d like it to be. I’m not going to frog it. I’m going to keep it as a reminder to make sure the needles are suited to the yarn (less of a problem once I convert to bamboo needles), to be certain about the swatch gauge and the importance of tension, particularly lace combined with stockinette.
