I am thinking of fog, pine trees, a bonfire, warm orange smiling faces, thick jackets, a tent, marshmallow, laughter. In college, there was the illusion of infinity, that whatever it is we choose to do matters, that the words we will say are heard and taken to heart. Back then I was very eager to go into the “real world.” We understand things better in hindsight, right? So now, more than 10 years after graduation, I understand these better: Live in the moment. Waste not a single moment. If you care for someone, show it, do something about it now.
