Cub, Bear (continued)

Tiger cub squeaked; baby bear sighed.
This love and joy hunting had tuckered them out.
Still they weren’t able to find either one;
But rather than tantrum, whine, cry, or pout,

The baby bear jumped up and took a deep breath,
With all the love in her managed to yell
“Mommy! Poppy!” and then took a seat
Knowing completely that all would be well.

Mommy and Poppy came downstairs quickly
Picked up cub and bear in a single loveburst
The bear realized that love and joy needn’t be chased;
Love and joy always looked for them first.
