They are such bizarre creatures, basically feathered dinosaurs, with lovely long eyelashes. But riding them is not exactly easy, you have to cling on under the wings and lean back to balance. That is until they decide to tip you off sideways. Only thing not quite perfect about the experience was that Carl's been feeling ill all day – possibly as a result of the ostrich steak last night...?
