You find out the politician gave the task to one of his assistants two weeks after he said he’d take care of it personally. When you talk to the assistant, he has no clue what the situation is. Then he takes another week to write the letter, and when you get a copy of the letter in the mail, the situation is warped and understated and there are four typos in the first paragraph.
