I felt like today was really the day I became an adult. I was in Antipolo for my younger cousin’s confirmation. The last time I stepped into that Cathedral was for my own confirmation. Back then, we were all clad in white and recited lines we’ve practicallymemorized and sat down and stood up by counts. Now, I am a godparent. And I am expected not only to be a good example, but a good, Christian example to my cousin. She made me smile when she said, “I don’t want an old godparent. They might die!” So maybe I’m not old.
