The object of my desire has arrived and I can’t bear to let it go. I put it down for a moment and I constantly glance back toward it. Will it disappear? Have I still not found the concept of object permanence? It is everything that I will ever need in a camera. Who knows where I’ll be in five years when the warranty runs out. Hopefully in a position to buy, perhaps, a top of the line SLR. For now I am beyond content. It fits my hand the way I imagine a soul mate would.
