I didnít know what to make of the water house. It was tempting. Yet there was so much work to be done. In some places the interior was just studded in. In others, it was finished with appliances. One bath was bare needing to be completely plumbed. I knew how to do all the required work, but I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I was struggling just to keep up with an apartment. How was I to do all this? Was this where one became owned by a house, as Thoreau had suggested? I wanted to talk with The Crone.
